Patients park for free
As a patient, you can park for free in the payment zone at OUH for one day—as long as you register your parking.
After you have parked your car, go in to your department or clinic to register your parking. Remember to make a note of your car’s registration number.

If you are a patient, you can register your parking online—before you come to OUH.
When you click on “P Online Registration”, you will be redirected to APCOA PARKING's website. APCOA PARKING manages the parking at OUH.
Give yourself time to find a parking spot
It can be difficult to find a parking space close to the department or clinic that you will be attending, so try to come well in advance.
You will often find parking spaces in these areas:
• In Odense: The multistorey car park at Odense University Hospital; drive directly to the 2nd or 3rd floor of the car park—you will avoid creating queues and delays for yourself and others.
• In Svendborg: Parking lot P1 at Svendborg Hospital.
Oops, I forgot to register my parking

Relatives and other guests have to register and pay for their parking using the vending machines in the payment zone at OUH.
As a relative or guest, you have to pay DKK 12 per hour to park in the payment zone at OUH (find maps of OUH and Svendborg Hospital here) during the following payment periods:
• Odense University Hospital: Monday to Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.
• Svendborg Hospital: Monday to Friday between 8 am and 6 pm.
Outside of these time periods, it is free to park in the OUH payment zone.
Remember that you must register your car’s registration number both when you arrive and when you leave the area.
Parking for a short time
It is free to pick up and drop off people in OUH's payment zone as long as your car leaves the payment zone within 45 minutes.
If you want to park for free, you can use our free long-term parking.
Free disabled parking is available in the OUH payment zone (find maps of OUH and Svendborg Hospital here). Remember to make sure that a valid disability sign is visible through the windscreen – and afterwards register your parking.
There are disabled spaces at most of the entrances to OUH - use these places as far as possible, but you can also park for free in other parking spaces. However, you may not park in reserved parking spaces.
NOTE: You cannot register parking in a disabled space after you have left the area, so please remember to register your parking on site.

There are parking spaces reserved for blood donors at OUH. These places are marked with signs.

- at the West entrance (drive in from Kløvervænget)
In Svendborg - see map:

Remember to register your parking
After parking your car, go to the blood bank to inform the staff about your parking. Remember to make a note of your car’s registration number.
If all the spaces are occupied, you can park for free in other parking spaces in the payment zone at OUH. Remember to register your parking at the blood bank.
If you arrive by motorcycle, you can park for free in the payment zone at OUH (find maps of OUH and Svendborg Hospital here).
The motorcycle should be parked in a vacant booth in such a way that another motorcycle could be parked beside it.
You can park for up to 45 minutes free of charge for loading and unloading at OUH. You can use the nearest available space (find maps of OUH and Svendborg Hospital here). If you are parked for more than 45 minutes, you will need to register and pay for your parking.
Other options
At Odense University Hospital, suppliers and craftsmen can park at supplier parking areas located behind the Central Depot, entrance 212. This has been agreed with the Building Management and Service (BDS).
At Svendborg Hospital, there are a few parking spaces for craftsmen at the Building Management and Service (BDS) that can be used with a valid parking permit issued by BDS.
At Odense University Hospital (here everyone can park for free)
- Parking spaces to the west of the hospital - see the overview map.
- At Dyrskuepladsen: You enter this parking area by turning into Gustav Johannsens Vej from Sdr. Boulevard (it's close to the Zoo). Drive under the tunnel and continue towards Dyrskuepladsen. From here it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the hospital via the footbridge over Kløvermosevej.
At Svendborg Hospital (only for patients)
- As a patient, you can park for free in the parking lot P1 — as long as you register your parking on arrival and the car does not leave the area.
Note: In the payment zone at OUH, parking is free for patients for 24 hours, while relatives and guests have to pay 12 kroner per hour.
Everyone who parks in OUH's payment zone must register their parking (find maps of OUH and Svendborg Hospital here).

Online registration
If you forget to register and pay for your parking at a vending machine, you can do this online here within 48 hours of leaving the area. This applies both to patients and to relatives and guests.
When you click on “P Online Registration”, you will be redirected to APCOA PARKING's website. APCOA PARKING manages the parking at OUH.
If you do not register your parking, the parking company will send you a payment charge for the time the car has stayed in the parking zone as well as a management fee of DKK 89.

Illegal parking
Remember that you are not allowed to park in specially marked parking spaces, in fire access ways, or in reserved parking spaces. If you park illegally, you will receive a parking fine of DKK 510.
If you wish to complain about a fine for a parking violation, contact Europark at: https://selvbetjening.europark.dk/apcoa/complaint/.
Forgot to register
If you do not register your car and pay for parking in the payment zone at OUH, the parking company will send you a payment charge for the time the car has stayed in the parking zone as well as an administration fee of DKK 89.
Remember, however, that it is free to park, stop, or drive around in OUH's payment zone for up to 45 minutes.

Why do relatives and guests have to pay for parking?
By requiring relatives and guests to pay for parking, we ensure that hospital patients can find a parking space as close to the hospital as possible.
OUH has entered into an agreement with the company APCOA PARKING Danmark A/S for the administration of the parking areas at OUH.
OUH does not earn money on this parking scheme but receives a share of the income from the parking payments. This money is earmarked for parking improvement measures.
