The Centre for Innovative Medical Technology works to strengthen and elevate the field of medical technology. It does this through its innovative work with telemedicine, where the focus is on the patients and their needs. CIMT works with telemedicine, apps, camera pills, patient reported outcomes, robots, video consultations, drones and much more.

CIMT unites Odense University Hospital with the University of Southern Denmark to ensure cooperation, coherence and knowledge sharing between university researchers and doctors, nurses and others from the hospital.
