Core Tasks
The Department of Surgery is a surgical department which carries out examination, treatment and care in connection with surgical gastrointestinal diseases, and diseases which are a consequence of congenital abnormalities in the gastrointestinal system.
The Department receives patients from the Department of Acute Medicine, and patients on waiting lists from the Region of Southern Denmark and Region Zealand.
The Department includes wards, outpatient departments and surgery departments.
